Senior Vice President Northern & Central Europe responsible for Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland.
Stefan Vorndran, born in 1963, started his professional career in 1984 with an apprenticeship as travel agent with the Amtliches Bayerisches Reisebüro (Official Bavarian Travel Agency), where he subsequently worked in sales.
In 1990, he started with Carlson Wagonlit Travel. Stefan Vorndran worked for this company for over thirteen years in various positions. He began in corporate sales taking over the deputy office management and later the management of the branch office of Carlson Wagonlit in Nuremberg. Under his direction, this office expanded to seven branches with a total of 45 employees. From 1995 to 1997, Mr. Vorndran was the regional director for Bavaria and Eastern Germany for Carlson Wagonlit. Later on, he also took over the responsibility for further branch offices in Eastern Germany. In 1998, he started working in the central division Key Account Management and three years later he took over the management of the nationwide German Division Account Management.
In 2003, Stefan Vorndran, started working for TQ3 Travel Solutions. In his position as Director of Key Account Management, he was in charge of the largest accounts of the business travel chain. In April 2004, he was appointed to the Executive Board heading up the Sales, Account Management and Marketing Division. After the creation of BCD Travel he maintained this position.
Stefan Vorndran was appointed Managing Director and Spokesperson of the Executive Board of BCD Travel Germany GmbH in October 2006. Since November 2006, Stefan Vorndran has filled the position of Senior Vice President Central Europe. His responsibilities increased as of January 1, 2010, with the promotion to Senior Vice President Northern & Central Europe overseeing 2.700 employees in Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland and managing an annual sales volume over 2.200 million Euros.
Stefan Vorndran lives together with his wife and his two daughters in Veitsbronn near Nuremberg. In his free time, his golf hobby takes second place only to his family.
